​​Melissa Bustamante, LCPC, RPT received her professional counseling degree from the University of Akron, Ohio in 2012. After receiving her master’s degree, she returned to Kansas to be closer to family. In the last 13 years of experience in the mental health field she has worked nine years for community service agencies. In 2021, Melissa started her private practice in the Kansas City area. Melissa enjoys working with children, teens, adults and families. Melissa uses a variety of therapeutic approaches and chooses the approach that would pick best for that client. When Melissa is not providing therapy, she is likely playing a board game, spending time with her dogs (Lulu and Roscoe) or enjoying a walk with her partner, Matt.
